  1. Ginseng plant roots has to stay in the ground for many years, good drainage is the most important. But if too dry ginseng will not grow or be stunted yet if too wet the root will rot. So choose the site carefully and raise the seedbeds. By providing proper drainage and soil preparation the problem should be minimal.

  2. Rust occurs in too hot dried and open shade areas.

  3. Damping off of seedlings occurs in the areas of too moist condition to first year plants and spreading rapidly.

  4. Yellowing of leaves in the summer can be caused by too much sunlight, hot and dry soil. For more details please refer to the publication by Ministry of agriculture and food “ginseng pest control, recommendation”.
